AUDITOR: Hi, to prepare for your audit, please see attached our Information Request List (IRL), as a spreadsheet. Please fill out answers for each request, and send us evidence to support each individual answer.
[A few weeks go by. You painstakingly collect all the information, and send it to the auditor.]
[A couple of weeks later, your auditor gets back to you.]
